Scope of Works
Safety upgrades to 3.5km of the Midland Highway south of Jericho.
The project included:
- Safety upgrades including divided lanes using wire-rope safety fence and slimline guardrail
- Pavement construction including regulation layers
- Road widening
- Extension of box-culvert livestock underpass
- Excavation of 55,000m3 of material, including rock batters up to 12m high
- 28,000m3 of embankment construction with embankments up to 12m high
- Rock drainage blanket
- Mass block retaining walls
- Stormwater upgrades
